Once again, we are thrilled to announce some incredible news from Switzerland: Suki has done it again! For the second year in a row, she has claimed the Swiss Brewers Cup title, this time showcasing the exceptional Finca La Negrita Red Honey Geisha, roasted by Mame Coffee.
Her presentation was built around a refreshingly simple yet highly effective approach, summed up by her punchline: "K.I.S.S" – Keep It Super Simple. Suki developed a two-pour brew method that combines both percolation and immersion, using the Hario Switch to deliver a cup that’s accessible to everyone. It’s a method as thoughtful as it is approachable, demonstrating that true brilliance often lies in simplicity.
And once again, our very own Bouba Cup played a key role. Suki asked the judges to evaluate her brew using only the thick lip of the cup, enhancing the experience by focusing on body and sweetness. Her innovative, thoughtful approach continues to impress and inspire.
A special shoutout goes to Kostas Kont, who placed an impressive runner-up to Suki in the competition—also utilizing the Bouba Cup! His performance shows the versatility of the Bouba in elevating different styles of brews, proving that it's a cup built for champions.
We couldn’t be prouder to support both Suki on her incredible journey. Next stop? The World Brewers Cup in Jakarta 2025. We’ll be cheering on every step of the way.
Congratulations, Suki, and best of luck on the world stage—we’re rooting for you!
